The Hinds Community College Foundation recognized 2018-2019 scholarship recipients, donors and honorees at a reception on Sept. 28 at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus.

Among those recognized was Kyla Tyler of Jackson, center, who received the Cowart/Gilfoy School of Nursing Scholarship. With her were Dene Cook, left, and Don Cook, right, both of Pearl.

The Hinds Community College Foundation awarded more than 600 scholarships in the 2018-2019 academic year. The deadline to apply for a scholarship for fall 2019, academic year 2019-2020, is Feb. 15, 2019. For more information, visit www.hindscc.edu.
